Personal History: Angelo grew up in the barrio in LA. That meant that he wasn't home a lot, and that his "real" family were the other kids in the gang. He did what he had to to get by. Yes, that means that he killed a couple of people. Unlike the stereotypical ganger, he's not proud of it and he won't brag, but it meant money in his pocket sometimes and food on the table at home. He was captured by the Phalanx along with some other kids after a gang incident gone wrong. His powers manifested, someone died, and everyone thought it was Angelo. He prefers that it stay that way. When Clarice sacrificed herself to set everyone free, Angelo went back to LA, turning down Professor Xavier's offer to stay at the school. Hank McCoy convinced him otherwise and he joined Generation X at the school in Massachusetts. Far from wanting to be a hero or an X-Man, though, he planned to stay until he learned to control his powers. Which he has. He's learned whole new ways to fight and use his powers to help himself and other people out. He's made some new friends, made and lost others. When Generation X disbanded, Angelo and Jubilee went back to their native Los Angeles to live the life domestic. Social Friends: Jubilee, lots of people. He's easy going.
